It's black, but with tints of blue... They call him raven-haired.

For the grey purple, it's that hair color for his Curse Seal 2 form only... so that doesn't count. ;p

it's actually black as shown in the anime. the pictures are probably drawn/colored by fans so they could have used any color of their choice.

I think it's supposed to be black or dark blue...most of the time, it looks black....but there are times where it looks bluish

his hair is dark blue because in the anime and cover of the anime it shows blue parts of his hair even though uchia like itachi have dark black hair, i think he has dark blue hair but could he possiblies dye his hair or something

As far as I can tell, his hair is black. It's just that his hair is dark blue when light reflects off of it--just like with real hair. For example, I have very dark brown hair, but when in light, light brown and a bit of red can be seen. People's hair normally reflects as either a warm color, such as red, or a very cold color, such as purple/violet. =] I hope that helps!
