Can you believe that Hayden Panettiere is a full-blooded Italian from New York?

I was amazed when I found that out. Her last name is pronounced "Pan-Uh-Tee-Air-Ee"; the Italian translation is "Baker". Italian women in general are beautiful, but I was amazed to find out that Hayden Panettiere is a blue-eyed, blonde haired Italian (although she probably dyes her hair):

I think she is naturally blonde. I remember seeing her as a child on some the shows I watched and she had blonde curly hair.
