picture day is coming up. I have brownish STRAIGHT hair that goes all the way to about 3-4 inches from my shoulder. Here are pics of inspirations.

Here's a good short video, the only problem I have with it is to instead of starting at the bottom of the hair with the iron and rolling up, you should instead start at the root of your hair wrap your hair around the barrel vertically and moving the barrel down the section of hair.

FYI: Just make sure you have several days to test out your hair style. And make sure it is after school or when you have a lot of down time, this way if you don't get your hair quite right you have time to play with it and you wont be rushed.

K, Well how long is your hair. Ok. If your hair is about maybe about to your ribs i did that once to. It was hard. K, But u do this. Take Curler iron get your hair really straight. put you hair to the sides and if you cant see in the back, then you could do it with a firend. Then you get the sides. the curl it. Curl one the Dont curl the end curl the stuff before the end. I meant edges. Then curl the Ends

Use a curling iron on dry hair. Take a lock of your hair and wrap it around the curling iron 2 or 3 times. I have the same hair as you and this is what I do when I want to use this hair style.

what you can do is get a large barrell curling iron-http://www.adiscountbeauty.com/page211.h... if you want looser curls like your first pic or a small barrel curling iron-http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/assets/p... if you want tighter curls...then just wrap the hair around it hold for about 5 seconds (the instructions should tell you how long depending on how thick your hair is) then when you let it out of the curling iron just spray it with some hairspray so it will stay...you can either go to a salon and get them to do it....it shouldn't cost that much.

Basically, it's a curling iron on hair that's been blowdried with product in it. Like a universal styling creme, onto damp hair, then dried, then texturized (especially if you have straight hair) and then come back with a wide barrel curling iron, and hair spray. Not too hard really, but you might want to find the best product for your hair, which is really what's going to cinche it, making it not frizzy, with enough body is the tricky part.
