My hair is past my shoulders

and it's layered.. I want my hair to look like Ashley Tisdales

the way she has it styled is very pretty

could it be possible to do that hairstyle with layered hair?

This is what the style looks like to me... Curl your hair if you have straight hair it will work better then work it through with some Goop in your hair ( Gel or Moose) dark haired style... Pull all hair in Pony tail ( high pony tail) pull down a few straggles here and there and if you need to curl them with an iron walah you should have it...The blonde style is basically the same you will just leave a large part...Bangs out of the pony tail... if you want your hair around the pony tail band pull a small section from the pony out wrap it around the pony holder and tuck under the pony...

my best guess is just play with your hair. Get a lot of bobby pins. It might not work because at that time, Ashley didn't have layers.

I would THINK you would scrunch you hair [when it's wet put some gell in and grab you hair kinda pushing it up and squeezing] and then wait for it to dry, then put it in a high ponytailand straighten your bangs and I think that would work

Try hot rollers to give the big bouncy curls. Then put it in a high ponytail(looser in the front then in the back). Next use a butterfly clip(kinda of springy with teeth) to push the ponytail up from behind. This will give it fullness and a fountain effect. You could also pull out some little pieces to curl around the face. Good luck!
