Allison, you're an actress! LOL. My first thought upon seeing your photo was, "Do her folks know about this?" But, by virtue of your acting career, it's fine.

Have you thought about layers? It's a look that seems to be coming back. My 12 year old daughter just had her (slightly wavy) hair cut in layers and it looks great. I don't however have a lot of experience with the curls you sport.

Before doing anything, you may want to consult with a stylist you trust (take your time finding such a one) and try to integrate their advice into what you are looking for in a "look."

I don't really think that you should be getting it cut anyway. It's going to be REALLY curly and hard to handle.
